The Office of Workforce Development is pleased to offer Heating Systems Service & Repair, a non-credit course, this coming Fall 2022.
Do you have an interest in the in-demand field of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) service and repair? With winter on the horizon, this Fall course provides introductory training and lab activities in various heating systems using gas, oil and electric. You will learn about the fundamentals of heating systems, and the service and repair of these systems, the testing of these systems for efficiency and safe operation, proper installation techniques, basic service and diagnostic procedures/fault diagnosis on each type of furnace and boiler, and techniques on the proper use of meters, gauges and other diagnostic instruments.
